The village has three preserved 19th century buildings of Boward County, a model of the first schoolhouse, and a research center. It offers programs for children which include hands-on re-enactments, schoolhouse class programs, guided tours of exhibits in the museum of history, guided walking tours of the landscape and lectures throughout the year.
